Observations

The insect seems to be a Field Cricket (Gryllus spp.). It does not have wings. It has large and strong hind legs, probably for jumping. There are tiny hairs on its legs and body segments. It has antennae that are larger than its body. The insect is striped with brown and black stripes. Its eyes are around half the width of its body size. Its abdomen is stripped with a faint yellow and black.
