Results

Wolbachia presence Unknown
Confidence level Medium
Explanation of confidence level

I chose a medium confidence level because the COI control band appeared clearly, showing that my DNA extraction and PCR worked. The Wolbachia 16S band was either faint or not visible, so it is uncertain if Wolbachia DNA was present or just below detection level. Since the positive and negative controls both worked as expected, I can trust that my results are valid, but I cannot fully confirm infection without sequencing.
