| Explanation of confidence level | Choosing Low because the Wolbachia gel band was faint rather than strong. Although the BLAST match returned 100% identity to Wolbachia endosymbiont of Armadillidium vulgare (E-value 3e-95), the weak band intensity suggests low template DNA, which lowers confidence in whether the sequence reliably represents Wolbachia infection in this specific moth specimen. The low 260/230 ratio (1.39) from the nanodrop also indicated contamination that may have affected PCR efficiency. |
