Observations
  • Occurred on August 21st, 2023 at 1:42 PM
    • North pond of GSU Armstrong Campus
  • Greenhouse garden bed
  • Capture the insects with a beet stick, canvas, tweezers, and a plastic jar
  • Steps: 
    • Place the canvas under a bush and hit it with the beat stick
    • Collected the insect using a tweezer then placed it in jar
    • Place in the freezer for 10-15 minutes 
    • Store insects in a labeled glass vial with 95% ethanol

The controls did work I know if my partner and  I took our time and did things slowly results may have differed. there was no + shown but it was a negative control so that made me feel more confident that I can do better next time but all controls were presented besides +.
