Observations | The Asian Lady Beetle was alive when caught. It was found crawling near the windowsill. The insect looked like a ladybug but it was later revealed to be an Asian Lady Beetle. |

Explanation of confidence level | My sample of the Asian Lady Beetle was placed in the second column in the gel. This column, as seen in the gel image above, had no band, indicating a negative result of Wolbachia. The positive control in column six worked and produced a positive band, this makes me feel confident in my conclusion. |
