Protocol notes

Arthropod shriveled after being stored in freezer, so dissection took out part of the exoskeleton as well.

Results

Wolbachia presence Unknown
Confidence level High
Explanation of confidence level

The results were inconclusive for Wolbachia, as there was no positive control band. The results cannot be interpreted as is and the analysis must be redone.

This was likely an issue when preparing the samples. This could possibly be an error with the positive control (forgetting the actual positive control DNA) or the error could have propogated through all Wolbachia gel analysis samples (forgetting a common and essential reagent among them all)
