| Wolbachia presence | No |
| Confidence level | Medium |
| Explanation of confidence level | Confidence level is medium because one of our two positive controls showed a band. Our negative control behaved as expected and did not show a band. |

| Summary | The Lasius neoniger was found to be negative for Wolbachia. |

This arthropod was found close to water, relative to our other samples. It did not want to surface and insisted on returning to the soil. It had a reddish / brown appearance and was very active (it was moving a lot when we collected it). It was found in a patch of dirt in a field of grass.
