Observations

The Asian Lady Beetle was alive when caught. It was found crawling near the windowsill. The insect looked like a ladybug but it was later revealed to be an Asian Lady Beetle.

My sample of the Asian Lady Beetle was placed in the second column in the gel. This column, as seen in the gel image above, had no band, indicating a negative result of Wolbachia. The positive control in column six worked and produced a positive band, this makes me feel confident in my conclusion.
