Protocol notes | We only got one Wolbachia band. This could be due to the DNA extraction process. Especially where we tried to take out the ovaries of our arthropodes. This was very difficult and didn’t work out well so we used a big part of the abdomen instead which might’ve lead to problems during the PCR. |
