| Protocol notes | Our controls and DNA ladder passed through the gel correctly and had the expected results. We have also spent many months perfecting our technique and perfecting and mistakes. This fruit fly was a cultivated control that was infected with Wolbachia, and tested positively for Wolbachia. |
