Sample information

The spider was found in a heavily wooded area with abundant leaf litter, on a young tree between the branches. It was resting on a large, circular orb-shaped web stretched between the leaves. The green-legged orb weaver had a rounded, light-colored abdomen with darker markings, a relatively small cephalothorax, and long, slender greenish legs with darker joints.
