| Observations | I observed a millipede moving slowly under a damp leaf. It had a long, dark-colored body with many segments and many small legs. The millipede stayed close to the moist soil and moved away when disturbed. When I touched it, it curled its body into a spiral for protection. I noticed that it seemed to prefer a dark, damp environment. |
