Results

Wolbachia presence No
Confidence level High
Explanation of confidence level

There was no question that my insect was negative for Wolbachia, as it comes from a historically low Wolbachia infected order, and the gel electrophoresis results controls performed as expected. No band was present for the Wolbachia gene, demonstrating that it was negative.

Wolbachia 16S sequence
Arthropod COI sequence
Summary The Hymenoptera was found to be negative for Wolbachia.
