Observations

I captured this arthropod in the courtyard of my school. The weather was warm and sunny, and it was about noon when I caught it. It was climbing on a flower stem, and I caught it before it could fly away. It was the only member of its species that I could find in the courtyard.

All of the controls worked properly and there were no issues with the protocol for the experiment. There were no bands on the gel, and for the reasons listed above, I am confident in my result that my arthropod is not infected with Wolbachia.
