| Observations | I found the millipede under some moss near a tree stump at the Penn State golf courses. It was in a moist environment under the moss. The weather was a nice sunny day, however, the millipede was under shade in darkness. |

| Explanation of confidence level | The gel electrophoresis showed an arthropod band for my arthropod, but no Wolbachia band. The only band that was seen in my arthropod lane was the top line which is the arthropod line. My arthropod matches with the fifth lane which is the negative control, so I can conclude that my arthropod does not have Wolbachia. Both the controls worked well and I was able to compare my millipede arthropod to the control data. |
