Results

Wolbachia presence No
Confidence level High
Explanation of confidence level

I am confident because when analyzing the results of the Gel Electrophoresis, there is no band shown for the Wolbachia gene in my specimen. This means that there was no Wolbachia detected and that my insect was not infected with Wolbachia. My controls worked properly, so I know that the results were not contaminated.

Wolbachia 16S sequence
Arthropod COI sequence
Summary The Hexapoda was found to be negative for Wolbachia.
