We used a DNA extraction protocol based on the insects adaption of New England biolabs’ monarch spin gDNA extraction kit (product #T3010)

The specimen was incubated for 30 minutes in a hot water bath at 56° C

our first gel image was taken on October 21 and ran at 125 V for 20 minutes.we Used the DNA ladder : New England bio labs 1KB plus DNA ladder for safety stains product. #N0559S

our second image was taken on November 4, 2025 and was running out 125 V for 25 minutes. We use this DNA ladder New England bio labs 1KB plus DNA ladder for safety stains product.# N0559S
