Protocol notes | Extraction according to protocol. DNA Elution according to protocol. PCR according to protocol. Gel electrophoresis positive for Arthropod, negative for Wolbachia |
Results |
|
Wolbachia presence | No |
Confidence level | High |
Explanation of confidence level | We had a clear band of positive arthropod and no band for Wolbachia. We followed the same procedures and ran the Drosophila (Wolbachia positive and negative) for our controls for comparison and that was a clear result. |
