When prepping gel, we doubled the recipe from 0.2g of agarose  & 20ml of buffer to 0.4g of agarose and 40ml of buffer.

Some controls worked but some did not. One of our positive controls did not work. Also, the mosquito did not test positive for arthropod DNA. Indicating that initial extraction did not go according to plan.
