| Observations | During the time I captured the Cricket, I believe it was late in the day, around 6 P.M. It was found on the sidewalk, near my front yard. Since it was found during the early days of December, I believe that it was around 40-50°F. Additionally, it has antennae, 6 legs, and 3 body segments. |

| Explanation of confidence level | Throughout this entire process, I had much confidence in our experiment. However, I was sadly proven wrong when it came to our Wolbachia results. I believe that we did everything correctly. Our PCR, Electrophoresis, and DNA Extraction, went smoothly, so seeing these unexpected result was a shocker to us. The bands did show where we expected them to in our arthropod gel. Unfortunately, only the DNA Ladder appeared in our wolbachia gel. |
