Observations

This ladybug was found on the base of a tree near a walking path in Lakeridge Park. It was collected at 11:54am, it was caught on a sunny day, with a temperature of 26 degrees celsius. It was caught in the spring season on May 25th, 2026.

DNA extraction: The ladybug was throughly crushed before we began to dissect the abdomen out carefully, while making sure to not include the exoskeleton.

Explanation of confidence level

All of my controls worked as expected. I did not have any problems with the protocol, and ai was not surprised by any bands on the gel. Therefore, I am confident my arthropod is not infected with wolbachia.
