Observations | Six ants (A1-A6) and one mosquito (M1) were collected and assessed. Presence of Wolbachia was observed in all six ants while no presence of WalB was indicated in mosquito collected. All controls worked accordingly. |

Protocol notes | Six ants scraped off the side of home in Aina loa, Hawai’i at 7:30am on a sunny morning. M1 mosquito was collected on 1/31/25 at 6:30 am inside home of Aina loa, Hawai’i and was 68 degrees outside. PCR preparation and standard Gel electrophoresis prepared and ran. Two PCR tests examined including Co1 and WalB primers. |
