Observations

This is a very small ant. It was found travelling across a brick sidewalk outside. It is black. These ants live underground.

The controls worked. I ran two tests, one to test for the insect’s DNA as a positive control and the other to test for wolbachia. I got a positive result for the insect DNA, so I know that I did the procedure correctly.
