Observations | I found the Spiny Orb Weaver while it was on its web. The time of the catch was about 2pm, it was sunny with a temperature of around 83°F. The web was connected to flora on top of a wooden fence. An image of the area that it was collected is attached. |

Explanation of confidence level | All of my controls worked as expected. The only problem that occurred was that there was no amplification of the arthropod DNA. Only Wolbachia PCR amplification showed up on the gel. |
