When opening the container, (we think) dirt fell in, which is what the specks are at the top of the gel. The bar for all of the arthropods showed up, except for lane 4, so something could have gone wrong in the process for that one. All of the others were extremely light and “weak”, so we think we might have punctured the gel when inserting each sample. |

We have a medium level of confidence, as our Wolbachia gel showed up pretty decently, however based on our Arthropod results, it would be unreasonable to say we have high confidence. Only the arthropod in lane three tested positive for Wolbachia. Our controls were accurate. |
